As the search for an African mouthpiece to speak to the global audience on African agenda continues by scholars within and outside the continent, African Journal of Sociological and Psychological Studies (AJOSAPS) hopes to make a remarkable contribution in this space. For centuries and up to the present, presentation of narratives on African issues are dominated by non-Africans, who tend to tell African story from their deep seated outsider perspective. Most times, these narratives are not properly grounded in facts and contexts and are sometimes totally misrepresent the events they narrate. . Unfortunately, few African scholars have successfully engaged in African narrative without much influence from occidental doctrinal positivists and modernist orientation.
