Articles submitted to us must not be under consideration by another journal, and must not be submitted to another journal while it is being considered by us. Articles must be written in Word format and must have an Abstract. Any image used must be embedded in the article and numbered, and copyright for such, where necessary must be obtained. I have carefully read the ‘Publishing Ethics Statements’, ‘Editorial Guidelines’ and ‘Review Process’ of the journal to which I am submitting the paper and agree to the conditions stated there. There are three components to our review process – the academic review of the article, language assessment to ensure that the paper is proofread to international standard and passing a plagiarism test (our threshold is 15% including references and in-text citations). An article must pass the three components to be accepted for publication. Our estimated time frame for a reaching a decision on a paper is 8-12 weeks. However given that we depend on the generosity of reviewers, this can take longer. Authors are expected to be updated about the status of their papers once every four weeks.
