1.      We are happy to announce the debut of the maiden issue of the African Journal of Religion, Philosophy and Culture. The journal is bi-annual and approaches its subjects of focus in a holistic manner. It provides an avenue for the exposition, development, and criticism of vital religious, philosophical and cultural ideas and theories relevant to Africa.  It is indexed by SABINET.

African Journal of Business and Economic Research (AJBER) is a quarterly, high quality international journal published consistently since 2006.The journal aims to advance both theoretical and empirical research on business, economic and management sciences and allied fields in Africa. AJBER is indexed by SCOPUS, IBSS, EBSCO, COPERNICUS, ProQuest, ABDC, SAJE, CABELL and J-Gate. It is ranked in the latest (2019) SCImago Journal Ranking (SJR).
4.       Journal of African Union Studies (JoAUS)is a triennial, two-double-blind reviewed, high quality international journal published consistently since 2012. The journal focuses on well-researched articles on the African Union, the various Regional Economic Communities in Africa and bilateral and multilateral commissions in the continent, including those outside the continent which have relevance for African Union’s integrative efforts. The journal is indexed by SCOPUS, IBSS, COPERNICUS, SABINET, EBSCO, ProQuest, and J-Gate. It is ranked in the latest (2019) SCImago Journal Ranking (SJR)
5.       Journal of Somali Studies (Research on Somalia, Fragile States and the Greater Horn of African Countries) is a bi-annual, peer reviewed interdisciplinary academic journal dedicated to advancing critical scholarship on the history, culture, politics, and economics of Somali society and the Greater Horn of African Countries (Burundi, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda). It also welcomes well-researched articles on failed and fragile states. It is indexed by SCOPUS, IBSS, COPERNICUS, ProQuest, EBSCO, Sabinet and J-Gate. It is ranked in the latest (2019) SCImago Journal Ranking (SJR).
 
 
6.       Journal of African Foreign Affairs (JoAFA) is a high quality, two-double-blind reviewed academic journal published consistently since 2014. The journal aims at deepening critical thinking with high quality research on African international relations, including multilateral and bilateral relations, foreign policies of African States, the international economic relations of African states and non-state actors, and general diplomacy.  The journal is indexed by IBSS, JSTOR, COPERNICUS, ProQuest, EBSCO, SABINET and J-Gate.
7.       African Journal of Peace and Conflict Studies   (formerly UBUNTU: Journal of Conflict and Social Transformation) is a tri-annual, multidisciplinary ‘two double-blind reviewed’ academic journal focusing on issues of social conflicts, social change, socio-political transformations and peace-building in Africa. Articles not dealing with Africa, but whose themes could be of relevance to African scholarship, are also welcome. AJPCS is indexed by IBSS, EBSCO, ProQuest, COPERNICUS, SABINET and J-Gate.

8. African Journal of Development Studies (formerly Affrika: Journal of Politics, Economics and Society) is a quarterly, two-double blind reviewed multidisciplinary journal  focusing on well-researched articles that show the interplay between politics, economics, and society with a view to producing knowledge for the social reinvention and development of Africa. The journal is indexed by IBSS, EBSCO, COPERNICUS, ProQuest, SABINET and J-Gate.

9.       African Journal of Gender, Society and Development (formerly Journal of Gender, Information and Development in Africa) is a quarterly, two-double-blind reviewed international journal published since 2012. The journal focuses on any aspect of gender, economic history and development in Africa. It is indexed by IBSS, EBSCO, COPERNICUS, ProQuest, SABINET and J-Gate.
10.    Journal of African Films and  Diaspora Studies (JAFDIS) is a bi-annual, multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed, international journal focusing on African films, Africans in the Diaspora, African music of all genre, African drama/theatre and all forms of the performance arts in the continent including carnivals, masquerades and dances.  The journal also accepts papers on all forms of communication, including non-verbal communication such as branding. The journal is indexed by IBSS, EBSCO, ProQuest, COPERNICUS and Sabinet
11.    Journal of Nation-building & Policy studies (JoNPS)  is a bi-annual, two-double-blind reviewed academic and policy oriented journal dedicated to the study of issues of nation-building and policy processes in Africa. The journal is indexed by IBSS, EBSCO, ProQuest, COPERNICUS and Sabinet.
 
12.   African Journal of Terrorism and Insurgency Research (AJoTIR) is a triennial, double-blind, peer-reviewed and interdisciplinary periodical dedicated to theoretical and empirical research on all aspects of terrorism, insurgency and counter-insurgency strategies. The journal is indexed by SABINET.
13.   Journal of African Education (JAE)  is a triennial, peer-reviewed, international journal that provides a forum for the publication of articles from academics and policymakers on the advancement of educational practices at all levels in Africa. The journal is indexed by SABINET.
 
14.   Journal of African Languages and Literary Studies (JoALLS) is a triennial, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing well-researched articles on all aspects of African languages and literature. The journal is indexed by SABINET.
 


D.    Submission of articles and general inquiries
Our journals accept submissions all-year-round. Send your articles to info@adonis-abbey.com, copying editor@adonis-abbey.com. Each journal has a Virtual Editorial Assistant who liaises between authors and the journal’s editor. Your article (or any inquiry) should be acknowledged within  hours, provided it is submitted during working hours. It is our policy that every author should be updated about the progress of his/her article every four weeks. We aim to have a decision on any article submitted to us within 12-16 weeks.
