A.    Call for Papers

The African Journal of Agriculture, Nutrition and Hospitality,   a peer-reviewed bi-annual academic journal, is calling for papers for its maiden issue. The journal which was originally entitled African Journal of Food, Nutrition and Hospitality was renamed African Journal of Agriculture, Nutrition and Hospitality in a bid to broaden its scope. Consequently the debut issue was also moved from June 2024 to the end of July 2024. The second issue will be published in November/December 2024.

The Journal focuses on developments in all aspects of agricultural science and its sub fields including farming systems, extension services, livestock farming, food sciences, food services management, clinical and public health nutrition as well as catering and the hospitality industry in general. It aims to be a credible platform for data-driven and evidence-based discussions on developments towards addressing challenges in African agricultural practices, food, nutrition, and hospitality matters through sound protocols, standards, and policy developments.

The journal accepts articles from a wide range of professionals on original research work (including intervention studies), literature reviews, editorials, case reports, and letters to the editor. The journal will initially be indexed by EBSCO, SABINET and ICI but will work  very hard towards indexation by SCOPUS, Web of Science,  IBSS and others. It accepts submissions all year round and does not charge any publication fee.
