A.    Call for Papers

The African Journal of Nursing, Social Work and Traditional Healing Systems (AJONSOTHS) , a peer-reviewed bi-annual academic journal is calling for papers for its maiden issue in June 2024.

Nursing and Social Work are closely linked practices. Traditional Healing Systems embody both as one practice.  These fields acknowledge the interconnectedness of physical, mental, spiritual, and social dimensions of health. The journal provides a compelling platform for publishing cutting edge research by both Western-oriented practitioners and those inclined to traditional healing systems. The journal welcomes well-researched papers from all subfields of Nursing Science-Practice, Social Work and Science and Traditional Healing Systems. Areas of interest include knowledge, attitudes, practice, rationale, beliefs and benefits of nursing and social work and the production and dissemination of best practices supporting or transforming indigenous and western nursing and social work from the African perspective. The journal also covers   herbalism, therapeutic feeds, hydrotherapy and spirituality (such as divination) as healing media.s  The journal  will be  indexed by EBSCO, SABINET and ICI. It accepts submissions all year round and does not charge any publication fee.
